Description

What is it?

Japanese Knotweed is an invasive plant from Taiwan and Japan that takes over large areas and stops our native plants from growing. The only way to stop it is to treat it with herbicide in the autumn, which affects the root system and slows down re-growth.

How can I help?

Join us for a mammoth injecting session!  It’s easy for anyone to do; there are various tasks and you will not need to handle herbicide.  This will also really help the local environment.  To find out more about Japanese Knotweed please visit here.

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and shoes with proper ankle support, and bring lunch.  All equipment and PPE will be provided.
